Cal undergrads, did you know the library provides expert consultations for your research papers in the humanities, social sciences, or international and area studies?
You can make appointments online for 30-minute sessions with our library research specialists. We can help you focus your project, find the best information sources, and use them efficiently.
This semester, the service operates from 11am-5pm (last appointment at 4:30), on weekdays through Wednesday November 23. Sessions take place in the Reference Center, 2nd floor of Doe Library.

Date changed: The library's mobile website, along with other UC Berkeley mobile sites, will be down for a hardware upgrade, from 8am to approximately 8:15am on Wednesday, September 21.
Melvyl, WorldCat, and other services provided by OCLC will be down for maintenance from Saturday, September 17 at 10pm until at least 5am on Sunday, September 18, 2011.
Besides Melvyl and WorldCat, the following databases will be unavailable:
OskiCat will continue to operate normally during this period.
September 17 is Consitution Day, the anniversary of the signing of our country's founding document.
