Two significant enhancements have been made to Melvyl, the discovery tool of the UC libraries.
Expanded content
In a pilot project during Spring 2012, Melvyl has been enriched with several million new journal articles and other documents from a wide range of databases, particularly in the humanities and social sciences.
Some important tips:

Improved access to some e-books
Melvyl search results now include "View Now" links that provide convenient access to freely available full text items, such as e-books in the HathiTrust Digital Library. If the full text of the item is not available (e.g., for copyright reasons), the link will not appear.
