Workshops on EndNote, Refworks & More

Several libraries will be offering workshops on EndNote, RefWorks and other interesting topics in April.

EndNote

  • Tuesday, April 8, 2:00-3:00 (120C Bechtel)
  • Thursday, April 17, 1:00-3:00 (350C Moffitt)

EndNote is a powerful, full-featured program that works with many databases to organize references, format a bibliography, and insert citations. EndNote may be purchased from The Scholar's Workstation and other vendors. Recommended to those managing extensive bibliographies.

RefWorks

  • Wednesday, April 9, 1:30-3:00 (450C Moffitt)

RefWorks is an online program licensed by the libraries for use by UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff. It works with many databases to organize references, format a bibliography, and insert citations.

Google Scholar

  • Thursday, April 3, 10:00-11:00 (350C Moffitt)
  • Wednesday, April 16, 10:00-11:00 (350C Moffitt)

Google Scholar is a search engine for online scholarly material, powered by the same technology as the Google web search. Learn how the Library collaborates with Google Scholar to bring you scholarly articles and other materials for your research on any topic.

Electronic Books on Public Health Topics

  • Thursday, April 17, 11:00-12:30 (450C Moffitt)

Thousands of online books are available for your use, including many core reference titles. Learn about e-book collections in public health and medicine.
