ProQuest, Scitation and IEEE downtime

ProQuest, Scitation and IEEE downtime

Three publishers have announced downtime over the next week:

ProQuest databases will be unavailable due to system maintenance this weekend for approximately 12 hours starting at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17. ProQuest databases include Dissertations & Theses, Digital Sanborn Maps, and ProQuest Historical Newspapers.

Scitation database maintenance will be performed on Saturday, February 16 from 7:00 a.m. until approximately 9:15 a.m., affecting some Scitation features and services. Full service will be restored after the maintenance procedure is completed. Scitation hosts electronic journals for many science publishers, including the American Institute of Physics (AIP), American Physical Society (APS), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and the SPIE.

IEEE Xplore is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:00 a.m. and Thursday, February 21 at 5:00 a.m. Users may experience an interruption in service of up to one hour at those times. IEEE Xplore provides access to journals, conferences, and standards published by IEEE and IET.
