Learning2.0 -- keeping up, having fun

Here's a website mit blurb about a learning tool for library staff that might be promising... a program The Library could adapt to launch our own x-week primer in discovery and experimentation with Library 2.0 tools and concepts...

<clip> Welcome to the original Learning 2.0 Program. This site was created to support PLCMC's Learning 2.0 Program; a discovery learning program designed to encourage staff to explore new technologies and reward them for doing 23 Things. Since the program's launched, it has fostered Learning 2.0 programs all over the world. If you are interested in duplicating or modifying this program for your organization, please see Program Notes on About Page and contact Helene Blowers for information. <end clip>

Carole McEwanI'm glad that Gail found this program which is the same one that I mentioned in an earlier post. I actually did this 6 week program myself, just as prescribed by Helene, and it was great! It is all easy hands on practice with Web2.0 apps that anyone can do. It would be a fantastic way to start "staff development" and also increase the "spirit of experimentation".

Oh good, it was you. I thought I'd seen this somewhere, but couldn't remember where. I'm glad to hear this was useful.
