The Library Planning Task Force, was convened under the auspices of SLASIAC - the Systemwide Library and Scholarly Information Advisory Committee by Provost and Executive Vice President, Lawrence Pitts, has issued the Interim Report dated May 2011.

"The Interim Report of the SLASIAC Library Planning Task Force is currently undergoing expedited review by the University of California community, with responses due on September 2, 2011. Comments may be directed to local Academic Senate divisions, systemwide or campus committees, or the campus library."

The LAUC-B Executive Committee established a small task group charged to review the report and put together focused points for further discussion.

LAUC-B will host a Brown Bag discussion of the report on Thursday, August 11, 2011; 12-1pm in 303 Doe.  Tom Leonard and Bernie Hurley will attend.
