Geography Colloquium: Gray Brechin 3/19

The University of California, Berkeley Department of Geography Colloquium series continues Wednesday, March 19, 2008, with Dr. Gray Brechin who will discuss "Mapping the Invisible Landscape of Depression-Era Public Works: A Progress Report on the Living New Deal Project."

Dr. Brechin is currently a Visiting Scholar at the UC Berkeley Department of Geography. He is the author of Imperial San Francisco: Urban Power, Earthly Ruin, Farewell, Promised Land: Waking from the California Dream, and contributed to Reclaiming San Francisco: History, Politics, Culture.

The Geography Colloquium is held Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m., in room 575 McCone Hall on the UC Berkeley campus. More information is available from the Geography Department.
