The University of California, Berkeley Department of Geography Colloquium series continues Wednesday, February 20, 2008, with Dr. Leila Harris who will discuss Water Securities, Socio-spatial Difference, and the Politics of Development in the Tigris-Euphrates Basin.
Dr. Harris is currently Assistant Professor of Geography and Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies, Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her writing has been published most recently in Environmental Conservation, Environment and Planning: Society and Space, and Acme International E-journal of Critical Geographies.
The Geography Colloquium is held Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m., in room 575 McCone Hall on the UC Berkeley campus. More information is available from the Geography Department.
