Instructor: Jesse Silva
Description: How many times have you wished you could show someone how to use a database or website instead of explaining it in email? Have you ever wanted to start screencasting, but heard that tools like Captivate and Camtasia are difficult and time consuming to use? The solution to these issues is Jing, the free screencasting tool from TechSmith. Jing allows you to create screencasts quickly and easily without any prior screencasting knowledge. This short 30 minute hands-on class will cover the basics of using Jing and you'll walk away having created 1 short tutorial. Prerequisite: None. Bring your expertise of a database or website you are regularly showing how to use and you will create a basic, short tutorial.
