Description:
Come learn how to make a composite web page or start page for a class or subject area. We will use widgets from popular websites & services (delicious, meebo, librarything, feed2js, etc.) to create a webpage for a specific library purpose (a course, a subject guide, a library instruction session, etc.). Attendees must have some basic familiarity with html.

Check out CAL PACT's new e-Learning program:
Are you a self-paced learner? If so, we have an alternative to CAL PACT classroom training. CAL PACT now has PC computer training CDs available which allow you to tailor your training program to accomodate your own schedule, learning style, and pace. Software may be checked out by UC Berkeley campus staff for two months. This loan period may be extended if a request is made before the due date and there are no pending requests for the same software.
To check out software, download the Elearning Loan Form and submit it in person when you attend a class at 262 Evans Hall, by fax at 3-5385, or by interofficemail to MC3808. Call 2-0559 or send email to calpact@berkeley.edu to arrange for software pickup in person.
