EndNote is a widely-used, powerful reference management tool. This hands-on workshop will include an overview of EndNote features with a focus on what you need to know if you are teaching EndNote to your patrons. You will learn about:

    * Importing references from just about any database
    * Organizing references
    * Inserting citations into a manuscript
    * Formating bibliographies in hundreds of styles
    * Understanding some of the less user-friendly aspects of the software

Our seminar room is equipped with 12 iMacs. If you already have EndNote installed on your laptop, you can work on your own computer.  Ari can provide a disc to install EndNote X3 for Mac or PC on staff machines (for instructional purposes); please contact him at your earliest convenience to schedule at akleiman@library.berkeley.edu.
