Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health System announced it is partnering with the California Department of Public Health to run the California Cancer Registry.
The California Cancer Registry is a statewide cancer surveillance system that includes data on more than four million cancer cases diagnosed since 1988, according to the release. UC Davis Health System's Institute for Population Health Improvement and the California Department of Public Health will take over operation of the registry from the Public Health Institute, which has run the database since 1986.
