Two Paso stores caught selling tobacco to minors

From the Paso Robles Press.

On Friday, Dec. 19 a tobacco sales to minors sting conducted by Paso Robles Police Department and San Luis Obispo County Tobacco Control Program, enlisted the help of a local teen who attempted to purchase tobacco at 28 of the 43 locations that sell tobacco in Paso Robles.
Two clerks in two the 28 stores sold tobacco to the teen.
The state average for sales to minors is 5.5 percent, according to the Youth Tobacco Purchase Survey data collected by the California Department of Public Health.
